Formula 1’s overall audience recorded an increase of 6.8% compared to 2024 and now stands at the massive figure of 1.83 billion total audience, which is the total sum (not unique individuals) of viewers for each individual event following the feats of the most prestigious automotive brands. The average audience per Grand Prix was 76.1 million people, the highest since 2020.

And fans following live are also clearly increasing: +19.8% for races and +22.8% for qualifying. Formula 1 remains the pinnacle of motorsport, with an audience 3 times larger than its closest competitor, MotoGP – also owned by Liberty Media.
Finally, a detail regarding sponsors, their visibility during a race weekend has increased by over 90% since 2020, with nearly 600 brands shown during a Formula 1 weekend in 2025.
