Ferrari wins in earnings
In the Liberty Media report for 2025, it emerged that annual revenues related to Formula 1 rose to 3,87 billion dollars. Of this figure, approximately 45% is paid to the teams in the form of prize money. The amount paid to each team is based on the results of the last season, plus a bonus for teams in the top 3 in each of the last ten years. For Ferrari, there is also a 5% historical bonus for its participation in all world championships from 1950 to today. The precise sum paid to the teams is not public and is a secret kept between FOM and the teams, but the publication PlanetF1 has compiled an estimate of the division of the 1,4 billion dollars destined for the teams.

At the top, therefore, is Ferrari, credited with 277,7 million dollars, more than half of which derive from the historical bonus and standings in the constructors over the last ten years.
McLaren, which won the 2025 world championship, is only in fourth place: 147,1 million dollars guaranteed by last year’s success (14% of the total) and 18,7 million from the standings of the last decade.
