We’re back with the… Antonel-League
Formula 1 returns to the track and lands in North America for two May GPs that finally break the long hiatus caused by the Gulf War. To welcome the restart of the engines – which will also be followed with great interest due to the application of the new regulations decided by the teams in agreement with FIA and F1 – there is also a special initiative for F1 Fantasy enthusiasts: only for the two races in Miami and Montreal, the Antonel-League will be open, which is a mini-league in which to directly challenge championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli and try to win exclusive prizes.

F1 Fantasy, what is it?
Never heard of F1 Fantasy? It’s the… “fantasy football” of Formula 1, a game organized directly and officially by those who manage the F1 World Championship, which requires each player to select five drivers and two teams with a limited starting budget, earning points based on the on-track results of the drivers selected when setting up their “line-up.” Bonuses are then generally provided for the number of overtakes made, for positions gained compared to qualifying, as well as for achieving the fastest lap of the race or the public’s vote for Driver of the Day. At the same time, there are obviously also penalties, caused by any retirements, loss of positions, and overtakes suffered.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s choices
Interestingly, in the case of the F1 Fantasy Antonel-League, the league officially supported by Andrea Kimi Antonelli, prizes are provided for the top three finishers at the end of the two races in Miami and Montreal. The winner will receive a pair of signed gloves actually used in a race by the leading driver in the F1 World Championship standings, with the second-place finisher having to “settle” for a Mercedes cap signed by Antonelli, and the third-place finisher winning a postcard signed by the young Italian talent. The choices of the 19-year-old from Bologna are also curious: Kimi Antonelli has indeed put himself and Mercedes in his line-up for Miami – obviously – but also Oliver Bearman, Pierre Gasly, Valtteri Bottas, and Nico Hulkenberg, also opting for the Alpine team. Who will manage to beat him?
