While Dani Juncadella was at the wheel, there was a driveshaft failure. The team will try to repair the car to give the fans a final parade.
Mercedes now still has #80 in control of the race unless there are other twists which are always around the corner, as Dani Juncadella had just avoided an accident, but against a technical failure there is nothing to be done.
