It is an overwhelming Aprilia: the Noale-based manufacturer is dominating this start of the MotoGP season and the record for consecutive laps in the lead in GPs by Marco Bezzecchi underlines this fact.

Aprilia has won everywhere, also securing two 1-2 finishes in Brazil and the United States, with the regret in Texas of Ai Ogura’s technical failure which could have even given the Noale manufacturer a hat-trick. To counter an overflowing Aprilia, there is a Ducati that is going through a very delicate moment.

Team manager Davide Tardozzi underlined to Sky that Ducati intends to react: “We need something from the engineers, Dall’Igna is the first to not be happy, we hope to bring something already to Jerez. We want to catch up in the championship, there is time to do it, the season is still long and some of our riders like Marquez and Aldeguer need to improve their condition. I don’t like talking about bad luck, but sometimes we haven’t put the riders in the conditions to perform at their best.”
