Tardozzi: “Ducati and Aprilia are equivalent, the difference is made by the riders”

MotoGP has gone on holiday with a standings that calling compact is an understatement. Jorge Martin, Ai Ogura, Marc Marquez, Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio are enclosed within 24 points.

Marc Marquez has the wind at his back considering he has won three of the last four GPs (with two wins in the Sprints) despite racing in physical conditions far from optimal.

Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi believes that the riders will be the decisive factor in the world title fight: “Aprilia and Ducati are basically equivalent from a technical point of view – Tardozzi said to Sky – I think the difference is made by the riders”.

Marquez has been exceptional in these last races, Tardozzi hopes to soon see the best of Francesco Bagnaia again: “We hope to give something to Pecco to help him grow, win races and maybe get on the podium more often”, added Tardozzi.
