Although there is still much work to be done, Antonio Filosa looks at his first year as CEO of Stellantis as a phase of concrete restart. In a LinkedIn post, the Campanian manager says he is proud that the group has already begun to “regain momentum” in key markets, improving operational performance and strengthening the foundations for sustainable and profitable growth. Filosa recalls setting his mandate with the goal of turning strategic direction into tangible results, starting with industrial efficiency and competitiveness.

Filosa at Stellantis: a first assessment
At the center of the assessment outlined by the group’s CEO is also the push on the product front. Filosa talks about an offensive “among the most ambitious in the sector”, consisting of over 60 new launches and 50 major restylings by 2030. From North America to Europe, through South America, the Middle East and Africa to Asia-Pacific, the group’s teams have worked, according to the manager’s account, with speed and determination to build the FaSTLAne 2030 strategy. In this context, the element of personal continuity becomes part of the message: for Filosa, becoming CEO of the company he has worked for over 25 years is not just a professional milestone, but “a dream come true”.
The importance of direct confrontation
In addressing the workers, La Stampa explains today on newsstands, Filosa emphasizes the importance of direct confrontation. Over the course of the year, he has met many people across different regions, sites, plants, and offices, confirming the talent, pride, and commitment that characterize the group. The CEO thus highlights a path of deep restructuring and a focus on what really matters – customers, employees, dealers, and other stakeholders – with attention to execution and long-term competitiveness. The course, moreover, remains that outlined with the plan presented at the Investor Day on May 21 in Detroit: the next phase, awaited with confidence, is to continue the work along the same direction. On June 17, Filosa’s hearing in Parliament is scheduled, a useful occasion to reiterate the state of implementation of the Plan for Italy and the missions of the individual plants.
