The Englishman is at -20 from Antonelli
Andrea Kimi Antonelli in the final Sprint made a minor mistake that allowed George Russell to claw back two points, but yesterday in the GP the Italian driver scored his third consecutive win which, combined with Russell’s fourth place, brings Antonelli’s lead over his teammate to 20 points.

For three weekends Russell has lost the comparison with his teammate and unlike what happened in China and Japan, this time the Englishman cannot cling to contingent situations or bad luck to explain the defeat.

“I’m just glad this weekend is over – Russell said at the end of the race – I can’t wait to get back to racing on more traditional circuits. The performances in the first three races leave me calm, here in Miami there were no external factors that influenced the result, it was a frustrating weekend. In the last 10 laps I tried Antonelli’s settings especially regarding brake balance and the lap times were more competitive.”
