Clean sweep for Aprilia at Silverstone
Top-3 in Qualifying, in the Sprint, in the GP and also in the Riders’ standings with Marc Marquez sent back to -40 points from the top: Aprilia had a track at Silverstone where they could exploit the home advantage and the Noale factory did it perfectly.

The only sour notes were the crashes of Raul Fernandez in the Sprint and Ai Ogura in the GP, but overall the balance sheet definitely smiles on the Noale factory. In particular, the official team with this weekend erases a decidedly bitter end to the first part of the season.
Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola commented on the weekend to Sky highlighting the stoicism of Marco Bezzecchi who evidently feels he has something to make up for. “Certainly after the last part of the season a weekend like this was needed – said Rivola – honestly I don’t know how Bezzecchi managed to finish the race today, after the warm-up he was struggling to walk, he put in an immense heart“.
“It was necessary to see Martin physically fit again and with great confidence on the bike – added Rivola – and we are always happy to see Trackhouse competitive this time with Fernandez. Clearly Silverstone is a friendly track so we don’t get carried away”.
