The new Renault Trafic Van E-Tech Electric stops in Hannover. More precisely, it stops at IAA Transportation 2026, the exhibition that brings together all the news in commercial vehicles. On September 14th, at 9:20 am, the Losange company will hold a press conference in which it will present its entire strategy on commercial vehicles. And it will present the new Trafic E-Tech Electric in detail, a few weeks before the commercial launch.

Renault in Hannover with the new electric Trafic
We already know a lot about the new electric van from the French company, since Renault took the opportunity last year at the Solutrans edition to present the new model. The brand’s first vehicle designed with Ampere software, it will also inaugurate the 800 V technology that allows fast charging for a range of up to 450 km in the WLTP cycle. Renault has announced that it will be the first of a new family of 100% electric commercial vehicles on the roads starting from the end of 2026, before being joined by Trafic E-Tech in chassis and crew cab flatbed, fixed box, tipper, and cargo box versions.
New and fully electric platform
In particular, the new Trafic Van E-Tech Electric is equipped with a brand new 100% electric platform called “skateboard”, designed to optimize the load volume relative to the ground footprint, with a minimized front overhang and a rear-mounted motor. In the L1 version, it offers a load volume of 5.1 m3 for a length of 4.87 meters and a width of 1.92 meters (the same for all 3 versions of the range). The L2 version, on the other hand, has 5.8 m3 for a length of 5.27 meters, thanks to a wheelbase increased by 40 cm. In Hannover, the Renault stand will be located in hall 13 on an area of 1,200 m2, and will display 12 commercial vehicles representing the entire range, including some outfitted models.
