A tide of unknowns heading to Melbourne
After collecting data both in Barcelona and in the two Bahrain tests, the Formula 1 teams are dedicating themselves to data analysis, simulator tests and are already thinking about the Australian debut race on Sunday, March 8.
The teams will no longer be able to hide and many expect a particularly competitive Mercedes, so it will be interesting during qualifying to understand who will really be ahead of everyone.

Formulating predictions is anything but simple, although it seems clear that McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari will confirm themselves – in what order is unknown – in the top 4.

“After the first three races of the season, we will have fairly clear ideas about who is ahead and who is not; now it’s like reading a crystal ball. Mercedes has two top drivers like Russell and Antonelli and I believe they have the best chances because the car has been strong from the start. And the same goes for Charles Leclerc and Ferrari. Then there is Max Verstappen, who is obviously in a category of his own, but we will have to wait and see how strong their driver-car combination will be. But my instinct says Kimi Antonelli will win!”.
