Quartararo towards Le Mans
Fabio Quartararo arrives at the French GP with the attention of the home crowd focused on him and Johann Zarco, winner here in 2025 and even one of the candidates for a repeat should it rain. On the Le Mans circuit, the Yamaha rider will try to turn the support of the fans into an extra boost to face another weekend in which the M1 will not allow him to be competitive.

The 2021 world champion, at least, will have an updated bike with the components tested in the Jerez tests including frame, swingarm, electronics, and aerodynamics. Elements that will not turn his season around but allow him to be more optimistic ahead of this weekend and to have more confidence in the front.
Quartararo’s words
“Obviously expectations are much lower than last year (when he took the last of his three MotoGP pole positions at Le Mans, ed) but in the Jerez test we regained front-end feeling, where we had been struggling since the start of the year. We are trying to regain these sensations because they can help a lot on this type of track, where the front is extremely important,” these were his words at the press conference.

“We will use the aerodynamic package we tested in Jerez, we found it positive. I think it will be extremely important because in the past I was used to setting lap times thanks to the front and with this bike I can’t, so I think it can help us a bit.”
