Hadjar injured
This time Zandvoort does not bring luck to Isack Hadjar. As we reported, the Frenchman suffered a wrist injury, and for this reason he will miss the Dutch GP weekend, where last year he achieved his first F1 podium. Liam Lawson will race in his place, thus returning to Red Bull after an unfortunate start to the 2025 season.

Lawson’s new promotion to the Milton Keynes team means the return to F1 of Yuki Tsunoda, who will race with Racing Bulls alongside Arvid Lindblad. Here are the statements from Red Bull and Racing Bulls that arrived a short while ago.
Red Bull statement on Hadjar
“Isack Hadjar suffered a wrist injury during the summer break that will prevent him from participating in the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix. This weekend we will welcome back Liam Lawson, who will replace him at the wheel of the RB22. The Team wishes Isack a speedy recovery and thanks Liam for making himself available on such short notice,” this is the statement from Red Bull.

Following the driver change, reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda will race for Racing Bulls at Zandvoort this weekend, alongside Arvid Lindblad. We thank both Liam and Yuki for their availability as the teams prepare for the weekend and wish Isack a speedy recovery“.
Hadjar, the recovery plan
Hadjar reportedly sustained the physical issue during a gym training session ahead of the Zandvoort race. Red Bull’s plan is to keep him resting in the Netherlands to try to have him ready for Monza.
