Marc Marquez won at Misano and caught up with Jorge Martin at the top of the World Championship standings. It’s incredible to realize that Marquez was 102 points behind the leader at Mugello and now, after the Misano GP, for the first time in 2026 he is the leader of the World Championship together with Jorge Martin.

Marco Bezzecchi crashed and fell 33 points behind Marquez and Martin, a gap not impossible to close, but still significant. Fortunately for him, the next race is already next week at the Red Bull Ring where he can seek redemption.
