After a start too bad to be true, it finally seems to be the moment of redemption for Aston Martin. In Hungary, the version-B of the significantly lighter car made its debut and the results were immediately tangible.

According to Juan Pablo Montoya, Adrian Newey’s work should be judged precisely from Hungary onwards, not before, and he explained why.
“Aston Martin went from last place overall to being competitive, a clear sign that Newey’s influence is starting to take effect – Montoya told Betpack – Budapest is the first real Newey car. When Adrian arrived, many things had already been decided. They were not what he wanted. So he worked starting from what had already been defined.”
