Great weekend for Piastri in Japan
Welcome back Oscar. After several lackluster performances around 2025 and the start of 2026, the McLaren driver at the beloved Suzuka has raised his head again by achieving a very respectable second place as Piastri himself emphasized.

Juan Pablo Montoya pointed out that the new setup of Piastri’s entourage was most likely the key to returning the best version of Oscar to F1 and McLaren: “80% of a driver’s performance in F1 nowadays is all a mental matter – said Montoya reached by Casinostugan – after last year’s shock Piastri is surrounding himself with the right people.”
