Mercedes-AMG presented the redesigned GT 4-door last May and is now preparing to unveil its SUV counterpart. Recently, the German manufacturer released new teaser images of the model on its social channels: the main element characterizing the design of the new high-performance crossover coupe is a large front grille, flanked by LED daytime running lights with an integrated star.

In this case, the headlights seem slightly less flashy, thanks to the elongated internal line. Moving further back, pronounced wheel arches and a long hood flowing into a slanted rear window can be seen. Completing the picture are a sporty roofline and an angular rear window. The rear of the car seems to recall that of the four-door coupe, although with some differences. One of them: a pair of circular taillights with integrated star graphics, contrasting with the six taillights present on the sedan.
Power up to 1,150 HP
Moving on to rumors, according to Carscoops the cabin will be equipped with a 10.2″ digital instrument cluster, a 14″ infotainment system, and a 14″ display for the front passenger. But that’s not all: we can also expect sports seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and dual wireless chargers for smartphones. All this should be complemented by an ambient lighting system and a Sky Control glass panoramic roof, which can switch from transparent to opaque with the simple press of a button. Great similarities are finally expected regarding the engine and battery range, with power that can reach up to 1,150 HP.
