The leader and the champion
Jorge Martin against Marc Marquez. Clearly I hope so and I am very curious to start this weekend and confirm our speed – commented Martin – obviously we still have work to do, because the last races have seen ups and downs from us, so now it is very important to confirm that we are still competitive, that we can continue with the same speed and that what we did in Silverstone can be repeated here as well. The package is very good, I like the track, so I am confident“.
“We know that Marquez, considering his record, is the undisputed master of Aragon – added the 2024 world champion – and this year on tracks that run counterclockwise we have seen how great his potential is and this will be the case this weekend as well. Beating him? Aprilia is doing a great job, the bike improves every race, so we will see from tomorrow on track what our level will be. The strength of consistency
“But I want to focus only on what I can control – finally concluded Aprilia’s #89 – I can’t control if he goes fast or not. I can control what I do, I can control how I work and I will try to find the maximum possible speed. If I have the chance to fight with Marquez I will take it, otherwise I will try to do my best anyway“. After all, Martin has already won a title as a ‘calculator’ and this consistency in performance is helping him even now.
