“The recovery is proceeding as planned, I have returned to training normally these days and I will be on track mainly to test my real feelings and physical conditions on the Desmosedici GP – said Marc Marquez – both surgeries went well, but we proceed with all due caution and with the last medical checks on track. Mugello is an incredible track, to be honest also very challenging, but the support of all Ducatisti will be an extra booster of motivation to do well”.
With the return of Marc Marquez, Ducati will have five regular riders out of six at the start of the Italian GP: Alex Marquez will be replaced in the Gresini team by test rider Michele Pirro.
