What pressure on Ferrari!
Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have arrived in Monte Carlo and have been widely indicated as favorites for the race in the Principality. The chassis qualities of the SF-26, combined with the lower impact of the power unit on this type of track, undoubtedly make Ferrari one of the potentially most competitive teams for this weekend. Moreover, Leclerc did not hide, indicating Monaco as the most favorable track for the Red team at the start of this season, awaiting improvements on the engine side.

Marko bets on Leclerc
Interviewed by the Austrians of Oe24, Helmut Marko is convinced that there is a clear favorite in Monte Carlo: “Mercedes will have difficulties in slow corners. I see Leclerc ahead, he is comfortable in those types of corners and he is my favorite in qualifying. And in Monaco, whoever starts on pole will win the race.”
Marko then analyzed this first part of the championship as a whole: “Mercedes is clearly the strongest team: it has the best engine and is also the benchmark for the battery. For the first time since 2021, they have managed to build a competitive chassis again and have a strong pair of drivers. I find it encouraging how Antonelli manages to make this car fly, but Russell will react: he is the more experienced driver. Their battle is the only hope for entertainment,” Marko declared.
