Ferrari, luckily Fred is there
On Thursday in Monte Carlo, there was clearly a lot of attention on home hero Charles Leclerc, fresh from a multi-year renewal with Ferrari. And the Monegasque driver did not hide that among the reasons why he once again bet on the Prancing Horse, including his love for the Scuderia, there was also the excellent relationship with Frederic Vasseur, defined as “the person capable of bringing Ferrari back to the top.”

A concept reiterated in the interview given to Nice-Matin: “I believe in the project. I have enormous trust in Fred. You know our bond, it’s very strong and very special. He supported my rise in GP3, then my F1 debut. Today I feel there’s a great momentum and I want to continue this adventure. And realize my dream, to become world champion with Ferrari”, Leclerc emphasized.
And Hamilton too…
In Thursday’s interviews, also Lewis Hamilton spoke in very, very positive terms about the Ferrari environment: “I think Charles and I work well together and I think we collaborate well with the team. I think we are pushing the team, together with Fred and the other extraordinary figures in the background – like the engineers working hard on the car. I think we really work well together and that there is great harmony in the team”.
As Hamilton himself hinted in recent weeks, the Brit will also be a Ferrari driver in 2027.
