The MotoGP rider market is moving the last pieces and although announcements are blocked by the lack of agreement between the manufacturers and Liberty Media, obviously negotiations continue and there are fewer and fewer seats still available for 2027.
Luca Marini is among the riders whose future is still uncertain and in the meeting with journalists today at Mugello he responded to the hypothesis of a future at Ducati as a test rider: “No, at this moment that is not what I want”, Marini emphasized, who obviously wants a seat as a main rider.
Marini also spoke about the safety issue after everything that happened in Barcelona: “Will there be more riders in the Safety Commission? Usually after major accidents attendance increases, in any case we would need a group leader, a spokesperson, to better make our voice heard and to be able to discuss important issues with the organizer that we don’t have the energy to talk about during the weekend.”
