Ongoing investigations
In just under two weeks, a historic chapter of Formula 1 in Spain will open: for the first time, the Circus will race on the street circuit of Madring, inaugurated this year and located around the IFEMA exhibition center in the capital. The countdown has already begun for the first free practice sessions, but last Sunday morning a sensational theft occurred.
According to the Spanish newspaper ABC, the National Police have launched an investigation to find out what happened inside the circuit, where unknown individuals allegedly stole as many as 300 meters of electrical cables. At present, the culprits are still unknown, but the damage has triggered a race against time to reinstall the missing cables ahead of the GP, necessary for safety systems.

Incidents in F3
Hoping that all this can be resolved, Madring has nevertheless been at the center of controversy in recent days following tests carried out by Formula 3 drivers. Although the young talents expressed positive opinions about the characteristics of the circuit, during the tests there were incidents (all without consequences) that led to the display of as many as 19 red flags.
