Lamborghini announces the appointment of Francesco Milicia as Marketing Director, following Christian Mastro’s transition to the new role of CEO of Automobili Lamborghini America. Starting from September 1, 2026, Milicia will lead the brand’s global marketing strategy, with the aim of strengthening Lamborghini’s positioning in key international markets and consolidating its recognition among an increasingly global and diversified clientele.

Lamborghini will have a new Marketing Director
Francesco Milicia joins Lamborghini with an international profile built in the automotive sector, particularly within Ducati, a Volkswagen Group company. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives in business development, commercial growth, digital transformation, and organizational change in global contexts. His many years of experience in Asia have contributed to developing a deep understanding of market dynamics and local cultures, a fundamental element for defining strategies capable of engaging with different audiences while maintaining a consistent brand identity.
Milicia’s Career
His education includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna and a Master in Business Administration. He has also completed executive training programs in Europe and China at INSEAD, CEIBS, and London Business School. After starting at Ducati in the Operations area, from 2005 to 2012 he held various managerial positions in China within a multinational group. In 2012, he returned to Ducati as Managing Director of Ducati Motor Thailand, where he led the implementation of a cutting-edge vertical production process, before returning to Italy in 2015 to the Board of Management as Purchasing Director and, from 2018, taking global responsibility for Sales and After Sales.
