Hadjar, the disqualification arrives
Not only the start time of the Miami GP changes, but also its starting grid. The Red Bull of Isack Hadjar was in fact disqualified from yesterday’s Qualifying session due to an irregularity on the floor: some parts, both on the right and left side, protruded 2 mm from the reference volume.

The Milton Keynes team acknowledged the error and asked the FIA to still admit Hadjar to the GP. The stewards granted authorization because the Frenchman “recorded satisfactory times in the free practice sessions“. Hadjar will therefore start from the pit lane.
Mekies’ words
“We made a mistake and we respect the decision of the Stewards“, commented Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies. “It was not our intention nor did we gain any performance advantage from this error“.
“We will learn from this incident and evaluate our processes to understand how it could have happened and to adopt measures to ensure it does not happen again. As a team, we apologize to Isack, and to our fans and partners. Today we learn at our own expense, but we will move forward. Now our focus is to turn yesterday’s promising performance into a strong race performance this afternoon“.
