Ferrari flop, Norris wins the Hungarian GP F1
During the Hungarian GP F1 weekend, Mercedes was never the leading force on the track and, in fact, struggled both in qualifying and, to a lesser extent, in race pace, but the winners were not the big favorites of the eve, but McLaren with Lando Norris. The English driver thus returns to victory almost nine months after his last win (with a world title) and even hopes to relaunch himself in the championship perspective despite the heavy 91-point gap from the top of the standings.

The weekend at the Hungaroring however can only be (another) weekend of great disappointment for the fans of a moody Ferrari, which surprisingly fights on unfavorable tracks like Silverstone and Spa and instead fails badly at circuits like Monte Carlo and Budapest, on paper suitable for the characteristics of the SF-26 (and mostly for its shortcomings in terms of engine). All this with a Lewis Hamilton who takes two more penalties and continues a negative moment that is starting to weigh heavily in the championship perspective…
Among the weekend winners are also Max Verstappen and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, all with various reasons to go on vacation smiling and relaxed, waiting for the resumption of operations at Zandvoort for the Dutch GP.
