EMC Auto continues to strengthen its presence in the market, with a +102% increase in registrations between January and April 2026. A result that accompanies a new stage of strategic growth: the launch in Italy of two Hongqi models, HS3 and HS5, presented in a national preview at the Automotive Dealer Day in Verona. The arrival of these two premium SUVs marks a further step in the offering of the Chinese brand, focusing on technology, comfort, and a high-end positioning aimed at intercepting an increasingly demanding clientele.

Hongqi HS3 and HS5 arrive in Italy
The SUVs will be distributed exclusively on the Italian market by Eurasia Motor Company starting from September 2026. The Hongqi HS3 is presented as a compact SUV with a strong character. Under the hood debuts the 1.5 TGDI Turbo Gasoline engine with 169 HP (124 kW) maximum power and 258 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed 7DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission. A combination designed to make driving bright and smooth both in urban contexts and during longer trips. The HS3, with dimensions of 4,655 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,668 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,770 mm, offers generous space and superior comfort. Inside, there is a 12.6″ infotainment display and a 12.3″ digital instrument cluster. The full optional equipment includes ADAS systems to enhance safety.
EMC grows enormously
Completing the range, the Hongqi HS5 is a premium SUV that combines elegance and performance, enhanced by the style signed Italdesign. The 2.0 TGDI Turbo Gasoline engine with 252 HP (185 kW) and 380 Nm, with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive, aims for stable and bright driving. Here too, the technological experience is central: Dual Screen 12.3″, Head-Up Display, and ADAS equipment, for a modern luxury that translates into dynamics, refinement, and high premium content.
