Hamilton, a disappointing Miami
The weekend of Lewis Hamilton in Miami was not at all satisfactory, with the English Ferrari champion who struggled from Friday to Sunday. From Lewis Hamilton’s weekend, it is interesting to isolate some statements, between Saturday and Sunday, in which the English driver spoke of an imperfect set-up suggested by the simulator and thus raised a big question mark on the correlation between factory and track.
“I think the simulator is leading me in the wrong direction, so I think for now I will eliminate it“, he said on the sidelines of qualifying commenting on the setup improvements made after the Sprint.

And again after the Grand Prix he elaborated on this thought: “I will take a different approach in the next race because the way we are preparing at the moment is not helping us,” Hamilton emphasized, continuing: “Ultimately it is always a matter of correlation. We train on the simulator and then we get to the track and it is always different. What I mean is that I spend time on the simulator, even if I don’t like it. I sat at the simulator every week ahead of this race and worked constantly on the correlation. I went, prepared for the track, set up the car in a certain way, then I got to the track and that setup didn’t work.”
