Marc Marquez seems to be back in 2025 form. The reigning world champion, without ever changing tires, was the fastest in FP1 of the Hungarian GP.

The nine-time world champion stopped the clock at 1’38″626, ahead of Raul Fernandez and Pedro Acosta. The Trackhouse rider fitted new tires at the end, while the KTM rider only changed the front one, failing to significantly improve his previous time.

Completing the top-10 were Aldeguer, Di Giannantonio, Bagnaia, Ogura, Marini, Bezzecchi and Razgatlioglu, who can leverage his braking skills on this track he already knows. Twelfth fastest for Jorge Martin.

The schedule

MotoGP returns to the track this afternoon at 3 PM for the Practice session that will determine the first ten qualifiers for Q2. Tomorrow at 10:10 AM, FP2, followed by Q1 (10:50 AM) and Q2 (11:15 AM), while the Sprint will start at 3 PM. On Sunday, this time at 2 PM, the eighth GP of the 2026 World Championship will begin.
