Alex Marquez was the fastest in FP1 of the British GP. The Ducati Gresini rider finished ahead of Marco Bezzecchi and Pedro Acosta, who fell without consequences at Stowe. All the top riders are within the top 8 in a session that saw most riders use the soft front tire, thus preserving the medium tires for the next sessions.

The schedule

MotoGP returns to the track this afternoon at 17:00 for the Practice session that will determine the first ten qualifiers for Q2.
