Qualifying and races on dry track
One week after Le Mans, where there were constant fears of a possible wet race for MotoGP (which actually happened in Moto3 and, partly, in Moto2), the MotoGP World Championship stops at the Montmelò circuit for the Barcelona Grand Prix. Watching a race in the rain on this track has been a rare event, both in MotoGP and Formula 1, and the weather forecasts provided by accuweather.com indeed denied the possibility of bad weather.

The exception of the Practice sessions
The most reassuring day will be Saturday, with all scheduled sessions taking place under the sun and without a real risk of precipitation. Sunday’s race will not be as clear as the Sprint, with an alternation of sun and clouds making the sky less clear. The real concern, however, will be for the Friday practice sessions: unlike the rest of the weekend, precipitation is expected, with a probability close to 100%.
