MotoGP Aragon, the results of the Practice

MotoGP Aragon, the report of the Practice
The Practice session on the Aragon track saw the local Aprilia rider from Rimini Marco Bezzecchi prevail in the timing classification. Bez set the new circuit record at MotorLand in 1:45.455, managing to stay ahead of the pair of Marquez brothers, Alex and Marc, who were 10 and 38 thousandths behind respectively. This trio distanced the competition quite clearly, since the fourth in the standings – Fabio Di Giannantonio – was three tenths behind the compatriot.
All the main title contenders have nevertheless earned direct access to tomorrow’s Q2, which was the goal of the day: Raul Fernandez posted the sixth time, behind the returning Fermin Aldeguer, while the championship leader Jorge Martin was seventh fastest.
Also completing the top 10 are Acosta, Morbidelli and especially a heroic Johann Zarco. The Frenchman, returning to the track after the terrible accident over three months ago in Barcelona, secured the tenth time and earned a ticket to tomorrow’s Q2, beating his teammate Diogo Moreira by 10 thousandths.
Great disappointment instead for Francesco Bagnaia: the two-time world champion only managed the 13th time and will have to go through Q1.
