The ‘new’ colors
March 28 will be the day when the first round of the 2026 world championship takes place at the Lusail circuit for the Qatar 1812 km, but while waiting for the championship opening, Cadillac and Team Jota presented the livery of their V-Series R. This season will be the second in the history of the British team after its debut last year in the WEC, with an unmistakable common point.

The two missions
The colors of the prototype, in fact, are the same as those seen in 2025, albeit with some small updates: as a result of the agreements signed with the main sponsor, Hertz, gold distinguishes the car from the competition, with the latter featuring black and red inserts. Furthermore, pre-season testing took place right in Qatar. Sessions during which the Cadillac particularly convinced driver Alex Lynn, so much so that he openly indicated the next goals during the presentation ceremony: “The start of the program with Jota last year was great, more than I expected – he commented – honestly, from the first race, the car was almost transformed, and what we were able to get out of it every single weekend was surprising. From that starting point to today, we can really start dreaming. Before, dreaming of winning a single race was already something big. Now we approach every weekend thinking we can win: it’s a very important change in mentality. In the end, the result will provide the proof, but that’s why we’re all here and why we work so hard to try to win Le Mans and the World Championship. This is the goal“.

The drivers
While Lynn will once again share the #12 car with Norman Nato and Will Stevens, the novelty in the lineup will be in the trio of drivers at the wheel of the #38, with Earl Bamber and Sebastien Bourdais having Jack Aitken as their new teammate (following Jenson Button’s retirement from competition).
