On track in Monza thinking about Miami
There was great anticipation yesterday from Ferrari fans and Formula 1 enthusiasts in general for the filming day organized by the Scuderia in Monza with the SF-26. The Maranello team, in fact, intended to test on this occasion the updates that were supposed to be brought to Miami at the beginning of May in the GP that will mark the resumption of the championship after five weeks of stop due to the cancellation of races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia because of the ongoing war in the Middle East.

In particular, the greatest curiosity was for the now famous ‘Macarena’ rear wing, with its particular ‘reverse’ opening which, according to estimates, should guarantee a gain of about 8-10 km/h on the straight.
The test seems to have gone very well according to rumors, with the two main drivers, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, who completed 100 km each as planned.

The innovative rear wing should therefore be used already in Florida, anticipating the original plan which foresaw its race debut in the Canadian GP weekend. The Prancing Horse also tested further upgrades: a new floor and new aerodynamic parts.
