Ferrari Luce, the first electric car of the Prancing Horse, is about to enter the auction world with an even more “historic” example. Because, reports Ansa, it is linked to chassis number 0: the first ever made. In Monterey, California, the event organized by RM Sotheby’s will take place from August 13 to 15, and this BEV made in Maranello will be offered with a Tailor Made configuration designed to elevate the concept of “light” both in aesthetics and onboard experience. In particular, the design is not limited to a scenic effect, but transforms reflections and hues into a true visual signature.

The first Ferrari Luce at auction
In terms of performance, the new Luce develops 1,050 HP thanks to a system composed of four electric motors, with an economic offer without reserve of over 1,100,000 dollars. The operation will also have a charitable purpose: the entire proceeds will be donated to the Ferrari Foundation, making this appointment not only a collectible occasion but also a moment of real impact. What makes the chassis 0 example particularly desirable is its unique livery, the result of a Semi-gloss Pearl finish specifically developed for this car. It is a dedicated Ferrari Tailor Made pigment capable of generating iridescent reflections that vary from green to violet depending on the angle and intensity of the light.
Complex luminous language
The very high complexity of the application process makes each single unit unique in its shades. The cabin follows the same luminous language: instead of black upholstery, elements in Corvara Gray appear, with a material developed for Ferrari Tailor Made derived from selected Swiss leathers and called Le Mans metallic leather in Pearl, soft and reflective, capable of diffusing light to amplify the sensation of space and refinement. Among the distinctive details of the configuration stand out the dedicated white wheels, brake calipers, and the Ferrari logo on an optical white background.
