The most anticipated test, namely the filming day in Monza, is instead scheduled for Wednesday, April 22. Ferrari will certainly test the ‘Macarena’ wing in depth during the test, in its evolved version which has been worked on in recent weeks. The wing was not seen in the recent Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, despite what was initially thought, and can be used in the filming day since it has already been used in FP1 in Shanghai and therefore cannot be classified as a novelty.
In the 200 km at Monza, Ferrari will test the tilting wing with the aim of bringing it to Miami and starting the long recovery path compared to Mercedes. Other teams could be on the Brianza track with them.

An April without races

As reported in recent weeks, Formula 1 has decided not to hold the Bahrain Grand Prix on April 10 and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on the 17 for reasons related to the conflict in the Middle East. This has opened up a gap of four full weeks without a single race. F1’s return to the track is scheduled for the Miami weekend on May 3.
The free time will be used by the FIA and F1 to discuss with the teams possible changes to the technical regulations for this and future seasons.
