A brave Ferrari

In the interview with the French magazine, Frederic Vasseur explained: “At Sauber we had this culture of risk. Strange, since we were a Swiss team. At Ferrari we were perhaps a bit too much in our comfort zone.
This year we have been aggressive in the concept on some choices, like the chassis or the Macarena rear wing.”
Rear wing that took this name precisely thanks to a joke by Vasseur at the beginning of the year.

Ferrari is aware that teams will take inspiration from each other: “There are other things on the car where we have been aggressive, but without a doubt it is easier to be so in the first year of a regulation, before entering a phase of convergence in the coming seasons. When we launched the design of the Macarena we were not so confident, while next year everyone will have it”.
