Special livery
It was a festive evening on Thursday at Mugello, especially for the Ducati factory team. The Borgo Panigale squad indeed presented – as an annual tradition – a special livery to be used in the Italian GP, the home race of the reds.

On the main straight of the Tuscan circuit Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez unveiled the special coloring of the GP26 for Sunday’s race: nothing revolutionary, but a vintage touch that stands out especially in the format chosen for the numbers on the fairing. Besides, of course, the tribute to Italy and all the people who work for the team






And Grassilli… makes pizza
But the party also took place before the unveil of the bikes, with plenty of pizzas served in the paddock to fans and journalists directly by sporting director Mauro Grassilli, who improvised as a skilled pizzaiolo (we can personally testify) for the occasion.


The highlight was reached when Nadia Padovani joined the Ducati factory team party, Gresini team manager, who was honored by Grassilli with a heart-shaped Margherita. Ducati, however, will not be the only team to field a dedicated livery for Sunday’s race: today, for example, in the late afternoon it will be Pramac’s turn to present the colors chosen for the Mugello GP.

Meanwhile, starting this morning finally the show will move to the track, where Marquez and Bagnaia’s reds will have to try to prove they can challenge the Aprilias on equal terms, in an all-tricolor derby that promises to ignite the Mugello weekend.
