After almost a month of absence, the Superbike will finally be back in the spotlight this weekend in England for the eighth round of the world championship. A somewhat romantic return to Donington Park, where the very first race of the premier class of production-based motorcycles took place in 1988.

This now belongs to the past, but the present answers to the name of a rider still unbeaten so far: Nicolò Bulega. In all the races held in 2026, along with the last four of the previous season, the Emilia rider for Ducati has always stood on the top step of the podium, setting the impressive record of 25 consecutive wins. Will his dominance continue on the historic Donington track, or will it be interrupted?
The answer will come soon, in a weekend all about two wheels. While MotoGP will take to the track at the Sachsenring for the German Grand Prix, the Superbike will move closer to the end of the championship, with the eighth of the twelve rounds on the calendar. Sky Sport will provide live coverage of the Supersport, as well as the Women’s Superbike, while all Superbike races will be broadcast delayed on TV8, precisely due to the overlap with MotoGP, which will instead be live free-to-air on TV8.
