MotoGP, Di Giannantonio seventh at Aragón
A predictable struggle: this sums up Fabio Di Giannantonio‘s weekend at the Aragón GP. The Roman never managed to fight for the podium, and in Sunday’s race he finished in an anonymous seventh place. Certainly better than the Sprint (which lasted just one lap due to a crash), but Diggia hoped for something more, even considering a non-competitive pace.

The number 49 commented on his difficult weekend at MotorLand Alcañiz, not hiding a hint of frustration about what happened yesterday.
Di Giannantonio’s words
“It was a complicated weekend, I expected to struggle a bit, like last year, but at the same time I didn’t expect to be this far behind,” this was Di Giannantonio’s comment to Sky Sport MotoGP.
“It was a very chaotic weekend, as has actually been happening for two races for some reasons we know in the box. Last night we discovered the reason for the crash in the Sprint, and I can’t say it. Many things are making us suffer a bit in the last two races, but we don’t give up: today it was important to finish and take points for the championship,” he added. “The good thing is that the team knows all the answers, we know what is happening to us. There are some aspects that are slowing us down and part of the responsibility is mine, because when a few things happen that I don’t control, I struggle more.”
Despite the not brilliant weekend, Di Giannantonio rose to fourth place in the standings thanks to Ai Ogura’s knockout. The VR46 team rider did not lose too many points to Jorge Martin, from whom he is 48 points behind.
