Di Giannantonio seeks redemption in Hungary
With the Mugello weekend behind, the VR46 team is preparing for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Valentino Rossi’s team arrives at the Balaton Park circuit with the goal of confirming both recent progress, with Fabio Di Giannantonio who won the Montmeló GP and is P3 in the World Championship, and the 2025 results: last year he achieved a double podium in the Sprint.

The focus is mainly on Di Giannantonio, who left the Mugello weekend with many regrets due to a qualifying session that was not up to par. The Roman aims to return to the podium, while Franco Morbidelli will try to forget the poor performance at the Scarperia circuit, where he scored only two points.
Di Giannantonio’s words
“Balaton Park is a very different track, perhaps the opposite of Mugello. There are very heavy braking zones, it is very narrow and slow; it will be important to have a stable bike under braking. Last year I had a lot of fun in Hungary, and we showed a very high level throughout the weekend. So, with the momentum we carry from Mugello and with the data we collected in Hungary in 2025, we aim to start from a great base, do a good job and return to the podium,” this is Di Giannantonio’s comment.
Morbidelli’s words
“In Hungary we present ourselves with the same determination we showed at Mugello. We will try to have a solid Friday, at the same level we had in Italy last weekend. From there, we will try to continue on that path while always maintaining a high level,” added Morbidelli. “I am happy to race at Balaton Park, I really like the track because it is very particular: it is narrow, slow and has many variations. Last year I went strong and I would like to confirm myself now as well.”
