BMW, profit down

Speaking of the market, BMW Group delivered a total of 1,156,727 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles to customers worldwide in the first six months of the year, down 4.2% compared to the same period in 2025. The company recorded growth in the first half in the Europe and USA sales regions: growth in both regions further increased in the second quarter. But the Neue Klasse gains ground

A look at the individual models in the BEV range. Demand for the Neue Klasse continues to grow with each new model introduced, with the iX3 fully in line with the goal of reaching 100,000 orders since the commercial launch. The second model of the Neue Klasse, the i3, also recorded strong demand immediately after the early pre-order phase for the Launch Edition started in June. From their respective world premieres, the Series 7 and the new X5 received rather positive feedback. The latter, moreover, will make Neue Klasse technologies available in five powertrain variants.

Estimates for all of 2026

Looking ahead to the rest of the year, BMW Group confirms the guidance for the 2026 fiscal year. In particular, the group estimates a slight decline in deliveries in the Automotive segment compared to the previous year, an EBIT margin for the Automotive segment within the range of 1-3%, a pre-tax profit marked by a significant decrease, and deliveries in the Motorcycles segment expected to be in line with 2025. However, the company concludes, “the actual business performance may differ from the above expectations, for example due to changes in political and macroeconomic conditions.”
