Bezzecchi will therefore try to limit the damage after the displaced fracture of the left collarbone sustained in the Sachsenring Qualifying, where he also suffered an injury to his left knee.

In the pre-race press conference, Bezzecchi admitted that Silverstone will be a weekend of total defense, focusing exclusively on the sensations while riding the RS-GP26. The focus will shift to performance and points only when his body allows it.
Certainly, the Aprilia rider will not be able to give 100% in these three days, also because Silverstone is a circuit that puts the body to the test, but participation in the British weekend is an important result, by no means taken for granted in light of the serious injury sustained. Number 72 will have to limit the damage in the riders’ standings, where he is fourth at -22 from Jorge Martin, then he will have another three weeks to recover and be in better condition at Aragón.
