Valuable third place for the Aprilia rider
Marco Bezzecchi continues the streak of third places started at Silverstone. The Aprilia rider took pole position, but at the start he was surprised in Turn 1 by Marc Marquez.

Bezzecchi got off to a great start when the lights went out, but braked too early and the nine-time world champion did not hesitate to strike. The attack by Marc Marquez also favored the entry of his brother Alex and the trio thus arrived in this order at the checkered flag. Bezzecchi clawed back two points in the standings from Jorge Martin and is now 29 points behind his teammate.
