The FIA has announced that the first two curfew periods will not be taken into consideration to deal with logistical delays caused by the circumstances related to the closure of airspaces following recent events attributable to the conflict involving much of the Middle East.

If some teams work outside the permitted hours during the first two curfew periods, they will not trigger the available ‘jokers’ which, if accumulated beyond the allowance, can lead to penalties.
