“For the second consecutive race weekend, the SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP team will face the race weekend without Ai Ogura. After surgery shortly before Aragon and the hope that a week of rehabilitation treatments on the injured left thumb – the result of a fall during motocross training in Japan, after Silverstone – would have allowed him to race at Misano, the most recent medical opinion, following an evaluation in Barcelona on Tuesday evening, indicates that he is not yet sufficiently healed to race and, therefore, he has withdrawn from the San Marino Grand Prix.

Lorenzo Savadori – official Aprilia test rider – who, with very short notice, had agreed to replace Ogura at Aragon, is not available to race this weekend at Misano, leaving the team no choice but to face the San Marino round with only #25 Raul Fernandez.
Ai Ogura will remain in Barcelona, focusing on efforts to recover physical fitness ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix, in a week.”
