At the Hungaroring, McLaren will therefore introduce an important update package for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The package mainly includes a new floor and other aerodynamic elements, which will be evaluated during the free practice sessions.

Furthermore, exclusively during the first free practice session, the team will test an evolved version of the experimental rear wing – the ‘Macarena’ wing – which was supposed to be tested on Friday of the Austrian Grand Prix. At the moment, there are no plans for the definitive introduction of this component either for the current race or for the subsequent one in the Netherlands. Therefore, McLaren plans to debut the Macarena wing in a race no earlier than the Italian GP at Monza.
