Alpine A110 FUTURE made its dynamic public debut worldwide during the first day of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Behind the wheel of the development prototype of the future third-generation A110 was Pierre Gasly, driver of the BWT Alpine Formula One Team, accompanied by the Duke of Richmond, founder of the festival. In its first appearance in the famous hill climb, A110 FUTURE offers spectators a concrete preview of the technologies developed for the next Alpine electric sports car, based on the Alpine Performance Platform (APP).

Alpine A110 FUTURE debuts at Goodwood
A110 FUTURE is not just a show car, but the first step towards the third-generation A110. It is the first true electric sports car in the world designed to stay faithful to the DNA of the French brand, while surpassing the performance of the best thermal sports cars currently on the market. At the heart of the ambition is precisely the new APP, a modular architecture designed to adapt different silhouettes and propulsion configurations starting from a common platform.
The secrets of the APP platform
The prototype previews a 2-seat coupe with a dual battery pack between the front and rear axles (25% front, 75% rear), as well as a dual rear electric powertrain, along with control solutions such as Active Torque Vectoring 2.0 and Wheel Slip Torque Control. Supporting the tuning work is also extensive use of simulation: thanks to the Alpine DiM250 driver-in-the-loop simulator, built around the cockpit of an A110 and equipped with a hexapod motion system, the development of chassis, tires, and control functions has been able to rely on over 45,000 km of total virtual testing since the start of the project, reducing the time and costs of physical prototypes.
