F1 Monaco, GP Report

Monaco will have the most exciting Saturday of the year, but – at least this year – Sunday was no less thrilling. Accidents, technical problems, red flags, broken asphalt, two starts: a crazy GP tamed by the strength and talent of an amazing Kimi Antonelli. The Bolognese driver is the constant in the Monegasque chaos: an extraordinary success for this homegrown prodigy, excellent at withstanding the pressure from Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton at the first start and racing his own race; only the Safety Car and the asphalt, which broke up at Noghes, tried to stop Kimi. But he remained calm and started perfectly even in the second start, heading towards his fifth consecutive victory. The championship leader, now +64 over Hamilton in the standings, is the youngest driver in history to have won the Monaco GP and achieved a Grand Slam (pole, victory, fastest lap in the race, and leading every lap).
