Stellantis and JLR together for the US market

Stellantis and Jaguar Land Rover have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to explore collaboration opportunities in product development in the USA. This was announced by the same Italian-French group, explaining that under the terms of the non-binding MoU, the two companies will evaluate possible synergies in product and technology development. According to the terms of the agreement, the parties will leverage their respective, complementary skills to create value for both organizations.

“By collaborating with our partners to develop synergies in key areas such as product and technology, we can create value for both organizations, while remaining fully focused on delivering the products our customers love,” said Antonio Filosa, CEO of Stellantis. The company clarified that any completion of transactions resulting from discussions related to the MoU is subject to the usual closing conditions, including the signing of binding definitive agreements.

The partnership with Stellantis allows us to leverage complementary skills in product and technology development, supporting our long-term growth plans in the US market,” added PB Balaji, CEO of JLR.
